QUICK FACTS
Once complete, the new Regent Park will be a mixed residential community for 12,500 people in 5,115 units.
Revitalization will replace all existing 2083 units of social housing and will contribute at least 700 additional affordable housing units, some of which will be off-site in the surrounding community.
Toronto Community Housing is also committed to building 300 affordable homes for Regent Park residents during Revitalization.
Phase One replaces 418 apartments with more than 700 new homes – both affordable and market rental and ownership. There will also be new commercial and community space.
TCHC is working with community partners to provide training and employment opportunities for Regent Park residents during Revitalization.
The Daniels Corporation, an experienced developer, will be the developer/partner with TCHC for Phase |

The new Regent Park will feature different kinds of residential units that face pedestrian-friendly streets. There will be large park spaces for recreation, landscaped walkways, and retail and commercial space.
The new Regent Park will be a green community. Lower carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and energy savings will be achieved by constructing buildings that are energy efficient and environmentally friendly. |

Regent Park Revitalization
St. Bart’s is located at the heart of Regent Park where Toronto Community Housing undertook an exciting revitalization project: |

The new Regent Park will also feature a Central Energy System that will heat and cool buildings and supply hot water to all units in Regent Park. A central plant will be built in Phase One. This plant will produce hot and chilled water that will be carried to homes through insulated pipes. |
